1) My name is Viet, I am 21 years old and from Germany. I am an exchange student here at UF for one semester. Since I am a finance major, my skills lay within financial planning, calculation and valuation. I would describe myself as a very outgoing person, having studied abroad twice meeting new people from everywhere on the planet. If I would start this business is would play the central role in my world, meaning that I would dedicate all of my time towards it. I believe in the idea that you have to believe and support your idea.
2) I am offering to customers reusable bags that will slowly replace all of the plastic bags in supermarkets which are bad for our environment. The unmet need is that many customers dislike the heavy use of plastic bags which are not environmentally conscious.
3) I am offering it to anyone who is a grocery shopper basically. However, all my customers have in common that they in some way care for our nature. Therefore they would like to help by investing in this new type of bags.
4) Our planet is the most important thing we have and therefore everyone should care for it. I believe that if everyone contributes as much as he can, our kids and grandkids will still enjoy living on planet earth.
5) What sets myself apart from others is my strong will and task oriented working style. I am results driven and oriented which means that I won't stop till the task is done.

ReplyDeleteI like the way you introduced yourself. I think that it is amazing that you are a foreign exchange student and have had the opportunity to study abroad. I believe this will help your business because you have experience from all over the world. It also makes you very unique. I think your idea is great because it is helping the world go green, which seems to be the direction it is headed.
Seeing first hand what it takes to start and continue a successful business, your first idea is spot on. You have to believe and invest a great amount of time into it for it to start blossoming. Regarding number 3, the idea is there but I myself care about the environment and ask for paper bags, which are environmentally friendly. However people around me do not use them, Why? They are hard to carry. Flesh out the idea and you could have something.
